Susanna Squaducci

• Chapter 1, section IV: Christmas 1955 USS Scaffold crew reunion aboard the Susana Squaducci.
• Benny is with Paola, Dewey Gland, Patsy Pagano, Pig and the Admiral's wife, and all his old crew mates. Dewey does his Elvis Presley impersonation, singing Blue Suede Shoes; when he sings a particularly depressing French tune, Profane wonders what happened to Guy Lombardo and 'Auld Lang Syne'. Unfortuanately, "fifty watts of disembodied voices" break up the party p.31. Benny pontificates, catches his fingers in mousetraps, and flees to the ferry where he meets up with Paola.
• Chapter 13: In which the yo-yo string is revealed as a state of mind -- 367: We briefly see Paola, Profane, and Stencil aboard the Susanna Squaducci on their way to Valletta.
• Chapter 15: Sahha-- 422-423: Stencil, Profane, and Paola disembark aboard the Susanna Squaducci for Malta.
